Metaformaldehyde’s systematic name is gather oxidized  metaformaldehyde (i.e. POM).

The metaformaldehyde is a linear polymer that without side chain, with high density, high crystalline, it has outstanding integrative performance.

The metaformaldehyde is a material that has smooth surface , glossiness, hard and compact, light yellow or white, may use in temperature scope of - 40- 100°C for a long time. Its abrasion-proof and self-lubrication are also more superior than majority of engineering plastics, also has good performance of enduring of oil and peroxide.It cannot endure to acid, strong alkali and radiation of the  moonlight ultraviolet ray.

The longitudinal strength of the metaformaldehyde reaches 70MPa, the hygroscopicity is small, the size is stable, glossiness,all these performance are better than nylon, the metaformaldehyde is a resin which highly crystallized, it is the most tenacious in the thermoplastic resin.Has high heat-resistant intensity, bending strength, anti-fatigue intensity, and excellent ability of enduring to glind and electricity performance.
