weight of polypropylene is light, the density is 0.90-0.91
gram /cm3, it is the lightest material in the general
plastic.
The polypropylene has the excellent thermal stability, the temperature can reach
to 100-120°C when using for a long time, the temperature may reach 150°C when
have no load, the polypropylene is the only variety which can boil in water and
can endure disinfection temperature of 135° in the general plastic.
Anti-concussion performance is not very good under the low temperature, even
in room
temperature. Easy to embrittle under the low temperature is the main shortcoming
of the polypropylene.
The polypropylene is the nonpolar plastic, has fine chemical stability, and the
higher crystal degree, the better chemical stability.Its hygroscopicity is very
small, water-absorptivity is less than 0.01%.
